– As noted earlier , Kurt Angle has been working with an injured knee. TNA has announced that Angle has a torn MCL in his knee and will not be working Sunday’s Lockdown pay-per-view.
Angle will undergo surgery today to repair the MCL.
TNA released a statement to further the storyline from Impact, noting that Kurt Angle was injured after Ethan Carter III′s attack on last night’s episode and that he might not be able to make Lockdown.
Angle acknowledged the injury on his Twitter:
“Attack by EC3 in London aired last night has taken me out of Lockdown Sunday. Surgery required but I will be back soon!”
