Latest on Vince Banning Flair Chops, R-Truth Injury Update and More

– WWE’s website saw 11.8 million visitors for the month of May, the lowest in a long time. WWE shipped 393,000 DVD’s in May, including the WrestleMania DVD. Their shop website averaged 484 orders per day for that same month, which is also lower than recent numbers.

– The recent reports that Vince McMahon has banned “Ric Flair chops” are almost true. Sources say that the chops were actually banned after Shawn Michaels retired and before that, they were banned for everyone except for Michaels. McMahon does have a problem with the “Whooo” reactions that the chops get from fans. Yoshi Tatsu, who may not have gotten the word, did the Flair chops before RAW in Nashville this week and they got the same reaction from fans.

– As noted before, R-Truth was pulled from the Money in the Bank match because of the recent groin injury that he suffered. The latest word on Truth is that he will need either surgery or extensive rehab. Apparently the injury is more serious than originally believed.
