– John Cena will be appearing on August 11th at the Pentucket Regional High School in his hometown of West Newbury, Massachusetts. Cena will be signing autographs from 11am until 1pm then will oversee the raffle of a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle with his brothers. Proceeds from the event will go to the Kenny Fowler Foundation.
– Independent women’s wrestler Sara Del Rey said on her Formspring social networking profile that she has had contact with WWE representatives.
– Vince McMahon said at the recent WWE conference call that the company will be pitching it’s TV network to cable providers in early 2011. WWE will be submitting proposals for the new network based on Major League Baseball’s TV model. Vince said there is interest in the new project and in some cases, a lot of interest.
