I don’t disagree that Cena did a good job last night. BUT, he did botch a few moves that made Punk look bad. He hurt his knee because he was out of place for the reverse cross body Punk did. Other than that, it was a pretty flawless effort from both guys. I don’t like Cena any more, but I don’t like him any less either.

Cena did play a huge role in this storyline & I think nobody is done with it yet.

@Kevin, LOL I Thought you meant Jericho..

    But yeah, Chavo.. STFU.

Oh boy he is gonna become another Sean Morely!!! People give this guy too much credit because of his last name. Come on I know im gonna get major heat for calling him over rated but when did he really ever get any heel heat unless he was with Eddie?? He is mid carder which is a dime a dozen in the WWE!!!

Former WWE star, Chavo Guerrero laid into John Cena via Twitter (@mexwarrior) on Saturday, challenging him to quit being lazy and step up during his MITB match with CM Punk.  He then posted the following on his Twitter account after last night’s pay per view:

“Some of u are asking me to eat my words. I’ll give credit where credit is due. Cena & Punk DELIVERED! But why should we be wondering if Cena will show up? He is the highest paid wrestler in the industry & the backbone of the WWE… He should deliver EVERY night! No question! We never said this about Taker or Michaels.U knew they would deliver every time they stepped foot in the ring. There was never a lazy accusation with those 2.

So what u should be saying is.. It’s about time Cena gave the fans there moneys worth! I’m very happy for Punk…If he’s resigning or not, he deserves it.Nobody has lit a fire in the WWE like that since Austin and I guarantee Cena makes 3-4 times if not more than Punk. If u make that much, u should deliver every night, no if, ands, or buts! But that’s just me, whether I was making Mysterio quit or putting over a little person, I gave it my all every night. Not for the money but cuz I have pride in my work and I respect this biz & the fans cuz they are what matters.

There’s always some1 seeing u for the first time & for the last time every night! That’s how every wrestler should view this biz. Not as a stepping stone to Hollywood but as way to deliver to the ppl who pay there hard earned money to watch them every night!!! Viva La Raza mother f’rs! 🙂 just playing.. Dont hate!”

great article, where says CM Punk has either signed a new contract or extension to his deal. talk about stating the obvious!!! I read in his interview yesterday that he has not resigned , WWE want him to sign for 5 yrs and he has said no. My guess is he has signed an extension to work until summerslam like they did with Jeff Hardy two yrs ago where they gave him the title a mth before he left.

For sure, Punk made this storyline as great as it was/is. But I don’t think any other guy but Cena could have been on the other side. The guys the ultimate professional going into one of the most hostile crowds Ive ever heard, even more so than One Night Stand 07 in the Hammerstein. To carry himself like he does (and dont mistake, I AM NOT A CENA FAN!), I gained a new level of respect for his work last night. And as great as the match was, nobody forget, you have to have two guys to make a match.

P.S. – Anybody who doesn’t watch RAW tonight is an idiot.

After watching the ppv, it just shows that Cena can actually wrestle, its just how they book him as Super Cena that people hate. Im not his biggest fan, he isnt the best wrestler out there, but he is the face of the company, he has the ability to put on good performances especially if hes working with someone with talent like Punk, Angle, HBK ect. Im suprised they did what they did with this story…. but it got me watching again, as it has many others. Well done WWE for putting the wrestling back into entertainment!
