Latest updates on Neville’s status with WWE

Neville WWE

We reported how there were unconfirmed rumors about Neville walking out of Raw this week because of being unhappy with the promotion and his place in the cruiserweight division.

Now, F4Wonline.com has confirmed that Neville did walk out of the show during Monday Night, apparently quitting the promotion in the process.

We noted before how the original plans for Raw were for Neville to face Enzo Amore and according to Pwinsider, the former King Of Cruiserweight was slated to lose the match.

While not confirmed after being frustrated with his bookings for a while and allegedly wanting to compete in the main roster, this might have resulted in him finally losing the control and calling it quits.

Though at this point, his status with WWE is uncertain as the company has denied the reports of the former Cruiserweight Champion quitting the company.

As of this writing, he is still listed as an active member of the roster on WWE.com, but since he didn’t appear on this week’s 205 Live either, Neville’s status remains under question.

    Aries didn’t walk out though.

Why are we still on this subject? No one made this much of a fuss over Austin Aries…

dude was champ for basically a whole year, the focus of a whole division and the moment he drops the title he whines? Reminds me of CM Punk. Talk about ungrateful. I guess he wanted to remain champ forever? lol
Instead of acting like a baby he should sack it up, walk up t Vince and say “hey, i think i need a change of scenery , send me to smack down”

I kinda get it and kinda dont get it. I can understand that maybe he saw the move to 205 as a demotion, but he got probably his best push in the company since his days in NXT, so it is kinda weird. What would he rather do, get a big push on 205 or be swallowed up on the main roster?
Also, it might be due to losing to Enzo. I mean, if Enzo has even half the heat we have been told, anyone would be pissed off if they had to job out to him the minute he hits 205 live.

If he did quit I would hope he would take Enzo with him.

Neville WAS on the main roster. Probably took the move to 205 as a demotion, despite finally being given someplace to conceivably thrive.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

He going to be back on the main roster soon. I see him teaming with Braun Strowman soon. There is no problem it just dirt sheet talk.

How is he a loser for not wanting to be limited to just the cruiserweights? Despite being the face of the division, if he isn’t happy, he isn’t happy. I’d go on to say he’s more athletic and entertaining to watch than Finn Balor, do you see limited to the CW division despite his size? Balor was called up appropriately to the main roster, Neville wasn’t and until they placed him in the CW division he was being underutilized.

What a poor loser he did have the cruiserweight title for a long time so.
