- TNA X Division Champion Sanada successfully defended his title at Saturday’s Wrestle-1 event in Japan. He defeated Seiki Yoshioka in the show’s main event.
– There were rumors going around that TNA released Lei’D Tapa because of her lack of skill and because she was seen as a “ticking time bomb” to management. Tapa confirmed it was TNA’s decision to release her but denied those rumors on Twitter. She is already back working for OVW.
– TNA may end up running the Grand Ballroom of the Manhattan Center and not the Hammerstein Ballroom as previously reported. The Grand Ballroom is the same place that WWE taped RAW in its early days.
