  • Josh McDOWELL

remember when the wwe had at least a good ppv every month. they were something to look forward to. now they just suck.

  • Wellsy

    Anyway, as for the PPV…

Being British, it’s on at stupid o’clock so if it’s bad, I usually fall asleep. Well after the opening EC I was snoozing! Barely any decent spots in it. The only part of any real relevance was when Punk knocked Jericho out of the Chamber. That’s clearly WWE’s way of making Jericho not look weak in the run up to a WWE Championship match at WM28 (he’s not legit hurt, and it’s a testament to how good Jericho is that people believe he was hurt). At least there’s some form of continuation building up to WM.

I fell asleep after that, so I missed the Santino egg-skit (yes, that’s definitely Eugene’s music!), the Cena gym video (actually pretty good, a lot of respect for him as a person, but that doesnt make his character any less stale) and the Divas match (good solid match). John Lauranitis on TV more? Well the bloopers video at least has some more highlights!

Woke up part way through the EC (caught up with it afterwards) and basically had no idea it wasn’t the main event. In fact I was shocked. If neither EC match at an EC PPV where both EC matches are World Title matches then it says something about the strength of talent in them! And the SD EC match was weak for talent. However, it was FAR more entertaining and unpredictable than Raw’s. Top marks to Santino. Really for the crowd behind him as an underdog and put up a good show. There was a point where I thought they might just spring a huge upset, but ah well. Again, at least there was continuation and sets up Sheamus & D-Bry for WM. I just hope they finally push Santino as more than a goof-ball filler as he has been massively over for years now.

Swagger’s match was pointless filler. Why couldn’t they have him in a match with legit build-up? This is a PPV, not Raw. You don’t just schedule matches last second, you sell matches to sell the PPV. Shocking booking.

Ambulance match pushing the 2 EC matches back as main event had to deliver and unfortunately it didn’t. Awfully bland end to what was a great build up. What next? Nothing. No continuation. Kane looks weak. Cena looks predictable as ever. Ryder’s not on TV. Eve looks like a slut for no reason. No embracing the hate. It was a huge anti-climax. NOTHING actually happened. What has this feud actually achieved ultimately? Nothing. What next? Well, we know. So why was this the main event over an EC match? No reason whatsoever.

The car on the Road to WrestleMania has stalled, and I hope they can get it going because Mania last year absolutely sucked. How they’ve gone from the highs of MITB11 to the lows of last night I aren’t sure. The booking is absolutely woeful.

  • Wellsy

Wow, the children have been let onto their keyboards tonight! Seriously, anyone that has an argument online where they’re talking about sleeping with each others mothers, etc is clearly a virgin keyboard warrior.

  • Moe

Wow what a shit ppv. anyone who actually pays for this is retarded. Thank god for live streaming of these events! Hopefully WrestleMania will be decent!

  • MC

LOL, MaNic vs JohnCena33… you guys put on a show more brutal than Rocky 3! I applaude you!

  • PinkSinCara

HBK’s match at WM26 was classic so I’d consider it a win regardless. Sometimes losing is better. Bret Hart knew that. Ric Flair knew that at WM24. Then we went broke and went to Orlando but that’s another story…

  • JohnCena33

    @Manic Suck a dick
@PinkSinCara You might be right about HBK vs HHH, but HBK deserves to go out with a win

  • PinkSinCara

    @ JohnCena33

HBK vs HHH has been done enough times. Go watch Bad Blood 2004 and ask yourself if they can top that. Let HBK retire with dignity by NOT coming back, unlike every other wrestler who supposedly called it quits. I don’t care to see Taker face HHH again either, but it’s already confirmed so I’ll be watching.

    Cena sucks, by the way.

  • JohnCena33

@Manic Cena does the most for WWE, he may not be the best “wrestler” but deserves the spotlight due to all he does. He isn’t a phony he acts like he would in real life. The Rock is the biggest phony, he acts like a big bad ass when in real life he is a kind man. Even if you don’t like Cena “kiddo” RESPECT HIM!

  • JohnCena33

@Manic enough of this crap. This is a blog to talk about wrestling so stop thinking your cool making fun of fellow wrestling fans. So…..

How about HBK vs HHH vs Taker. Have Taker win and have him retire 20-0. Then carry on fued between HBK and HHH, and have HBK win at summerslam for his final match. Honestly if anyone doesn’t like this idea then your crazy.

  • JohnCena33

@Manic Ask your Mom if she had a good time with me and your girl.

  • JohnCena33

Did anyone hear Cody Rhodes telling Santino about his and I quote Rhodes “Stupid ass cobra”

  • TS93

Oh and santino actually impressed me. Khali being eliminated mayb a min after getting out of his pod had me die laughing…and any1 else notice the holy shit chants when show broke into Bryan’s pod

  • TS93

I was hoping for Barrett/Sheamus. Barrett was the most impressive in that match, he deserves it, and there’s already been tension between those 2. I liked the idea of Jericho winning then punk winning it back but I’m satisfied with that storyline. Tamina and Beth was the best divas match I’ve seen in YEARS

  • JohnCena33

@Manic Tell your girl I had a good time with her.

  • Philzibit

Hopefully they do something with Santino now. Say what you want, but the guy is fun and people love him. They should use this as a springboard to Rhodes vs Santino at Mania for the Intercontinental title. They could build it off Rhodes comments about Santino being a terrible IC champ from a few months back. Could be a nice mid card Mania match like Rhodes and Rey had last year.

Also, what has the Kane/Cena feud accomplished? Eve, Zack and Kane have no where really to go from here. Plus, Cena’s motivations are even messed up. WWE really fucked up everything here.

  • PinkSinCara

I’m glad I didn’t watch this. It sounds like a throw away ppv. Just Wrestlemania fodder.

  • Jay

I dont know how some of you even remotely liked this PPV. What an effin joke. Your standards must be really low to live this BS. 1 out of 10.

  • Sean Mooney

I am shocked for so many reasons, but not in a good way. Terrible booking in terms of having the RAW Chamber match first and Cena/Kane last. I didn’t think they could pull off making Santino winning actually somewhat believable, but they did. The RAW Chamber match had it moments, the Smackdown Chamber match was decent, and Cena/Kane was very disappointing, but I didn’t have high hopes.

  • http://wrestlingedge alucard420

    PPV = TRASH ! !

  • fivo goes west

this ppv as a whole was not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. the only let down was the cena/kane match. it should have been the first not the main. but overall it was an ok ppv

  • bb

i really hoped santio win but not, bryan and santio good match. cena/kane bored. diva sucks. raw chamber 4 out 5 stars . ppv 6 out 10

  • AUSTIN

People don’t even know what a go-home show is these days!

  • Stevie P

I gotta say, that was one of the worst PPV’s I’ve seen. Raw EC as the curtain jerker? Really? It was a pretty good match as you had 4 maybe 5 (or maybe even 6) Main Event material guys in that match where they had really really good spots.

Then it all went downhill. The Divas match was a Divas match. The SD match had at the most 2 Main Event guys in that match and it was just completely boring. The most over guy in the match was a low-mid card guy! US title match was a filler and squash match. Yawn. The Cena/Kane match was so bland, no Eve or Ryder heel turn and of course Cena wins to get a push to WM so there was no surprise and was completely predictable. Plus, the major spot in the match on top of the ambulance just looked dumb. You can obviously tell Kane fell into a pit of foam.

All in all, I’m glad I didn’t buy this. I really hope the next 6 weeks till WM builds it up and that WM is a good one because this PPV was really weak.

  • Jimbo

Santino pinning Rhodes and Barrett is one of the most retarded things WWE has done.

  • Bawb

    @ Ramses 2

I believe you so succinctly nailed it.

  • Nicholas

Did not really expect to much from this PPV just a build up to Wrestlemania. I dig Santino tonight. I think moving him to Smackdown was a great idea. Is he Wwe or World champion type of wrestler heck no. But Bryan made him look good tonight. I am glad Bryan is getting a good push as champion. Yeah it is all coming to an end at Wrestlemania Sheamus is going to get a big push on Smackdown. An let’s face it Smackdown needs it why with Edge and Undertaker gone who else is left. Randy Orton most likely going back to Raw. An well I always feel Sheamus would be big for Smackdown.

Again didn’t think this PPV would do well. In fact they should get rid of it. Have the Chamber once in a while. Just let WM keep building up after the Rumble. This PPv was to easy to call.

  • Bawb

No Ryder or Eve? What the fuck happened to WWE? There is no variety in their matches anymore. What happened to run-ins and swerves?

  • RAMSES 2

WHY HAVE AN ELIMATION CHAMBER AND AN AMBULANCE MATCH IN A PG ERA!!!!! KANE VS CENA IN A GUMMY BEARS MATCH!!! FUCKING WWE YOU LIARS!!

  • evetorres_chin

that was a terrible pay perview they could have done so much with it

  • whocares

Manic, tomorrow is presidents day. No school.

  • MaNic

it’s been years since i’ve paid for a ppv bro. and i mean YEARS! i think RR06 , Other then that i use streams , wwe is so bad bars dont even play them no more , back in the day me and all my friends would have a ppv party each month now im the only one left watching, once jerhico is gone i think im done…. i been a fan for 18 years and im burnt out on this cartoon no respect for wrestling shit.

  • Hagaha

@ little jimmy g… That would be awesome so cena can Go as a heel to WM and kane for some championship

  • Wine Reborn

Anyone that thinks cena should he champ of anything is a complete child. WWE took all credibility away from john cena with this pg mess. Men use to Like john cena when he built up as this larger than life badA#* but now he’s just a dork WWE keeps throwing in our faces and he almost has more championships than HHH. HHH stoppe.d out of respect for Ric Flair. As much as he talks about staying in WWE they made him win all these belts like he was leaving in a few years. If Cena beats The Rock the WWE will have a riot at wrestlemania. Even Hulk Hogan knew when it was time be a bad guy.
They cater to these people who even got Bryan fired for what he’s a grown man who curses everywhere but his job who use to do any and everything to push the envelope. What happened to the grapefruits. And it was great to see santino with such a dominateshowing. Hope he gets more

  • TS93

So let me get this straight….in 6 weeks at miami so far we have 2 recycled wrestlemania 27 matches, and the wannabe peoples champ john cena vs the rock (who ‘coincidentally’ only shows up right b4 a movie releases)….this is why i stream ppvs not even worth so much as $1

  • GreasyRabbit75

Oh my god, the tooth fairy isn’t real?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • BestInTheWorld

So anti-climatic. That was terrible, no Cena embracing the hate, no Eve going heel, no Ryder going heel and costing Cena the match. Then Kane looks absolutely weak at the end, yeah that was a terrible main-event. Why wasn’t the Raw Chamber the main event?

  • Little Jimmy G

    well that sucked

  • Little Jimmy

Zack Ryder will be involved in the match, he’ll either screw Cena or confront Cena and then Cena puts him through the announce table and go crazy on him and smile at Kane and Eve, Kane & Cena will become a weird trio. Or the Rock could just screw Cena or help him then beat him. I think Cena being heel isn’t all that concrete as All of the Little Jimmy’s & Little Jennies wI’ll react like when they find out the tooth fairy isn’t real.

  • Wolfie

Having Santino win would have proved that anything can happen. Plus it would have underscored that champions rarely win in the Chamber instead of having both retain. Although I think Punk may have only retained cause Jericho is legit hurt.

  • has been

    does anyone have a link?

  • kewk

Admit it You wanted santino to win.

  • drew

If Jericho is really hurt I could see it he is fit but he looked winded since he has been back. I just had a feeling he was going to get hurt. I feel bad. But seriously did anyone else feel this way?

  • JohnCena33

@Wolfe Here is my true opinion. Bryan has good no great and probably the best in ring ability in the WWE, but they should have had Santino win and then get laid out by Bryan on smackdown, then have Sheamus save Santino leading to build up to WM28 between Sheamus and Bryan.

  • Wolfie

I didn’t mean from just that one comment.

  • JohnCena33

    @Wolfe It is a joke

  • Wolfie

Well now we know that JohnCena33 is about 11 or 12 years old.

  • http://facebook.com rawvssmackdown

I just took a shit and finally the U.S Title Match is over!

  • JohnCena33

@Killa Bryan Danielson has no talent on the mic. All he can say is yes yes yes yes. John Cena should be WWE champion, world heavyweight champion, united states champion and intercontinental champion. Then WWE would be good.

  • Dan

Why do people always slag off Santino’s in ring ability? Technically he’s better than a lot of people on the roster, he just has a gimmick that makes him look like he can’t wrestle. As a heel intercontinental champion he looked a lot more credible a wrestler.

  • Wolfie

Santino is actually a pretty good wrestler he just doesn’t have the look WWE goes for and he gets held back because he is so good at the comedy stuff.

  • Killa

u must of not did ur research on Bryan Danielson

  • JohnCena33

Santino would have had better luck picking up sticks with his butt cheeks than winning that match. He should have borrowed SOCKO instead of his cobra.

  • JohnCena33

WOW! A Gnat vs a garbage comedian/wrestler as the final two in the elimination chamber for the world championship. I could have thought of a better match than that pathetic show. Have someone deserving like CHRISTIAN or CODY RHODES win instead of some garbage person like Bryan.

  • Wolfie

They had a chance to create a phenomenon by just letting Santino hold the belt for even 24 hrs and they completely blew it!!

  • has been

remember when payperviews had 7 or 8 matches? maybe vince thinks since UFC only needs 4 or 5 matches a ppv they do too…

i’m glad i don’t have a link to this show cuz it doesn’t seem all that great.

  • Killa

    GO SANTINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Stashathan

I like how the first three comments ask the same thing
    Lol watta coincidence

  • r8ted wrx

    holy ish big show!

  • Killa

stop hatin u stupuid fuck its better than that shitty tna ppv they just had why complain ..F U

  • Allen

THAT was Christian’s return???? WWE….you seriously have lost it. Not only does this PPV just suck…but WrestleMania isn’t looking too good besides Rock vs Cena.

  • Dystre Fjell

    @ Sam: I hope as hell you’re right…
And is it me or did we just have a WRESTLING match between two girls ? Sure has been a while since the last one.

  • Killa

u suck stop hating this ppv is good

  • Wolfie

Well at least they let Santino make it to the ring. Unfortunately he has no chance.

  • Sam Peters

The ambulence match is going to be Main Event and there is one good reason…..THE ROCK

  • Dystre Fjell

Are you fucking kidding me ?! The ambulance match as the main event ?! Bad booking WWE…

  • WeAreOne

    Christian came back

  • Dystre Fjell

Exactly why he’s gonna come back after Punk, win some dumb matches set up by Clownshoes and go on to WM to face Punk for the title.

  • Wolfie

When Punk was on his knees he flashed the X I think Jericho was actually hurt.

  • Simon07

So Jericho didn’t actually get eliminated then?

  • Sam Peters

did anyone else think Eugune was gunna turn up then with that music being played

  • Dystre Fjell

Damn, that was more of a Liontamer than a Walls of Jericho on Kofi. Much more brutal.

  • Lynnrae

Why is this the match they start with?

  • Raider B

Most of the streaming sites you can log on to now give you a huge virus. the safe sites got shut down by the gov.

  • cheesehandler

  • Rae

  • shorty

vickie guerrero should be banned from ring side she has no business being at ringside during a elimination chamber match

  • Dx

Does anyone know any sites to stream live ppvs I’ve actually never found one to use and I’d like check it out if someone can post back asap, thanks

  • cakes

    http://www.firstrowsports.eu/watch/108805/1/watch-wwe-elimination-chamber-2012.html

  • AUSTIN
