  • RealTalk

As long as Cena doesn’t leave with the title, I could careless who wins it

  • Eric Wescott

How about this… Cena beats Brock at SS, Brock jacks Cena up, Rollins cashes in… torch passed

  • nobody

Again – Cena is your full time wrestler with a title run, and his run will not end anytime soon.

  • what?

So predictable brock How about giving a full time wrestler a title run

  • Kristopher Robinson

So now Cesaro and Heyman aren’t together anymore…. If Brocks not there then I don’t think Heyman is needed, bc this is getting ridiculous.

  • nobody

Anything? How about next week, AJ has to forfeit her title because while she is scheduled to defend it, Paige stole her Tampons and now AJ is trapped in the ladies room.

    Anything?

    Think before you speak.

  • what?

Anything would be better than the crap going on now

  • nobody

Good point! The US Title has kind of worn out its welcome. It makes an occasional fun feud when there is a Foreign Heel but they almost always blow the chance. Likewise when a Babyface Foreigner wins it, we don’t have Nationalist Heels who think “God Bless America and No Place Else” type attitude to feud with.

IC Title is natural and has no committed themes or tropes.

  • nobody

Has been rumored for a while now. Though the rumor I remember stated Henry, Big E, and Titus, while another rumor thought Darren Young, Kofi and R Truth.

I hate it, I just hate it. I can’t handle a nationalist storyline AND a race stable.

    Come on…

  • D2K

Well the IC title is the same design as the Federation era IC belt and still says “Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion” so they wouldn’t have to use a new belt ‘IF’ they chose that name as the rebrand.

  • what?

    Rebirth of the nation?

  • nobody

    1. So um, will this just be a black 3MB thing then?

    2. ICP gave better performances than Flo Ryda and his Lip Synching.
    3. Sheamus is booked for the US Belt against Rusev, hope Rusev wins and adds meaning to the belt.

Sheamus is an Irishman and as he isn’t a heel playing the foreigner role, the belt isn’t actualized to potential on him, nor does it really enhance him. The US Title is good for nationalism but only on a foreign heel or patriotic face. I liked Lance Storms “Canadian Heavyweight Championship” that was a neat spin on the belt.

  • ROB-1.

Now that the rapper is on, time for a nap.

  • HBK

Foul language? Blood? Attitude? Warming up to be a decent episode.

  • nobody

I agree but with the situation as is, may as well milk the belt for all its worth just one more time. Rusev would be a good man to unify the belts and be the first Heel US/IC Champion to get the shot Warrior/Goldberg got.

Rusev would of course lose, but that would be a good thing.

If they do or don’t, the US Title always has a chance to get Nationalist feuds lit up, and the IC Title will always be the “Legacy” midcard belt. The belts do cheapen the presence of one another and I don’t know how the WWE should brand the unified belt.

Maybe just a new belt altogether with a new title name. No need to carry both belts around if unified.

  • D2K

It also would bring some interest back in to the title assuming they do not unify it (especially now with all the stuff going on in Russia and Ukraine.) I know most people disagree but I this think that the US title and IC title should be unified into the Intercontinental Heavyweight title. Probably won’t happen though.

  • nobody

US Title is doing nothing for Sheamus; yet could be the Stake that people care about with Rusev.

Get Rusev that belt now, don’t wait forever. Cesaro had a great US Title run, it came too late and ended too soon.

  • nobody

    1. Rusev should already be US Champ, get him that damn belt NOW if you want the Nationalist vs Foreign storyline.
    2. Will Paul Heyman unleash his client Brock Lesnar on Cesaro for firing him?
    3. Will we just get another regurgitation of the recent “3 month cycle” storylines with the same match every week?
