– Former WWE Diva Mickie James will be appearing for Tajiri’s SMASH promotion in Japan on July 24th. Scotty 2 Hotty and Eugene will also be wrestling.
– Shawn Michaels was said to be furious about Bryan Danielson’s release from WWE. Michaels was Danielson’s original trainer years ago.
– The actual numbers are in for WrestleMania 26 and the show had 61,093 fans in the building, which was set up for 67,488 fans. This would be the second straight year that WrestleMania has not sold out, even with free tickets given out. Apparently there were around 6,000 free tickets given out. The actual live gate was $5,529,172.
The numbers that WWE announced were 72,219 fans in the building and a $5.8 million gate, higher than the numbers that have been released by Pollstar now.
