“The Irish Hand Grenade” Marcus Davis has reportedly been released from the UFC.
mmajunkie.com has confirmed with Marcus Davis’ manager Joe Cavallaro that the 37 year-old UFC lightweight has been released from his contract after appearing on The Ultimate Fighter, and garnering five bonuses for his in-Octagon performances (3 “Fight of the Nght,” 1 “submission of the night” and 1 “Knockout of the Night”).
Davis plans to continue his career in other organizations in hopes of a return to the Octagon.
