Match Cut From SummerSlam Pay-Per-View, Multiple Fans Collapse At Axxess

– Brodus Clay and Damien Sandow, who have been feuding on WWE programming in recent weeks, were scheduled to face off at SummerSlam but their match was nixed due to time constraints.

Both the WWE Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship bouts were shortened due to time constraints because the production team wanted to make sure there would be enough time for the aftermath of the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar bout since The Game’s farewell scene will play a vital role in storylines going forward.

– According to a fan account of WWE’s SummerSlam Axxess festivities in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, EMTs tended to numerous attendees who had fainted or collapsed at the event due to the extreme heat. There were few shaded areas and WWE did not provide water.

– Mike Tyson, who was on hand for the SummerSlam festivities to promote THQ’s upcoming WWE ’13 video game, was noted by a WWE talent as the happiest person at the events. The boxing great considers himself a huge wrestling fan, as he reveals in this article.

So they cut Sandow, the best character in the company from the PPV just to give Triple H a 30 minute farewell that isn’t even his retirement and a shitty musical performance that nobody cared about? Fuck off. Paying it off on Raw is NOT a big deal.

They tried to make HHH’s “farewell” so emotional, yet they didn’t hype it as his last match and nobody really cared. And why was he saying sorry? It’s not like we have a reason to completely hate Lesnar, and HHH was trying to beat him for us.

Yeah I could have done without the HHH “farewell” that’s not even gonna happen. Also, there was at least 15 minutes left as well as the 30 minutes worth of promos.

“There were few shaded areas and WWE did not provide water.” Nice, very nice

Time constraints?! The show went off the air with 20 minutes to spare! If they’d have cut the number of VT’s and that godawful Kevin Rudolph “performance” then there’d have been plenty of time! To not only give Clay/Sandow a match but let other matches have a decent run time as well.

I definitely needed a recap of the Brock-HHH storyline right before the match, even though I saw it during the preshow. Stupid memory!!

  • Jimbo

Yeah, so glad they decided not to cut the video packages short. My memory is too short term to remember anything that happened two weeks ago.

No time with the 100 video packages or the “concert”
