Two Matches Confirmed for WWE’s Over the Limit PPV

– The following matches were confirmed on RAW last night for WWE’s Over the Limit pay-per-view on May 22nd from the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington:

I Quit Match for the WWE Title
The Miz vs. John Cena

Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole
If Cole wins, Lawler must surrender his WWE Hall of Fame ring.

I hope The Miz recorded Cena saying I Quit on Raw so he can play the recording at the ppv like The Rock did with Mankind at Rumble 99.

  • @Jaspreet It’s not copying TNA if Lawler wins. If Michael Cole wins and he copies Jerry Lawler, then yes it does sound like they’re copying TNA.

John Cena is undefeated in I Quit matches. It’s just going to be 4-0 after Over the Limit.

  • Well… Do I see WWE taking a leaf off TNA’s book?? I remember something about Hogan and Flair already losing their HOF rings.
