Matt Hardy teases WWE return, reveals new look

It looks like the former Tag Team Champion of Raw, Matt Hardy is ready to make a return to the WWE.

He has been making tweets recently that strongly hint to him making a return to the ring. He posted the following just before last Raw:

“Excited to check out the 1st #RAW of 2019 tonight, especially with all the interesting things that are advertised. Most importantly, I need to see where all the pieces are positioned & moving to on the @WWE chess board. ALMOST TIME TO GET BACK INTO THE GREAT GAME…. AGEEN!”

Besides this, Matt has also brought back his series of “Woken Word of the Week” videos. The word this time being “appetency” meaning “A strong craving or desire” to, well, make a return to the ring.

To top all of that, The Woken One revealed that he took a dip in the Lake of Reincarnation and came out with a new look:

Matt Hardy has been out of action since months now because he had to take time off due to an issue with his back where his spine and pelvis were starting to fuse together. Afterwards he took a backstage role where he was looking to work in a producer capacity as well as an ambassador for the company.

The last time we saw him in the ring was in September of 2018 at a WWE Live Event where he teamed up with Bray Wyatt to take on Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. “I fulfilled my final advertised live event commitment,” he wrote on Twitter after the match. However, a few months later he hinted at making a return to the ring multiple times, so it doesn’t look like Matt is ready to hang up the boots yet.
