It was noted in last week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that former UFC fighter and current Evolve star Matt Riddle recently met with HHH and is expected to be in NXT soon. He will not be featured on the upcoming WWE Network cruiserweight show, but rather on NXT TV.
Riddle recently spoke with The Orlando Sentinel and during the interview, he addressed the rumors. Here is what he had to say:
“I haven’t heard anything. I’ve heard the rumors, and I’d love to do it, but I don’t know. Right now, I’m too focused on EVOLVE, and ecstatic to see what comes next.”
