Well, i never thought Striker was the future of the WWE, But, to me it is very sad. To hear a company that is Based on wrestling. chooses to pass up on a guy. that gave them a 100%. no matter how bad they tried to hold him back. He loved his job you can see that by watching him. He knew what he was talking about. and he wasn’t a complete bore to watch. There is not many people in the WWE that is like that and now they are one less. i for one hope to see him in TNA. Where wrestling is respected and not an after thought. With his knowledge of the business he could be the Voice of MEM. like Tazz is of aces and eights.

Really sad news. Loved Striker when he was on commentary as he really knew his stuff. Not only did he know what all the moves were called (unlike Booker T) but he also knew his history. A genuine fan, with a knowledge base second to none. And the guy can be funny as well. Certainly head and shoulders above the likes of Cole, Lawler and Booker.
Ideally the commentary teams would have been a mix of Striker, Mathews, JBL and Regal. Those guys made me wanna listen to commentary, the other guys make me wanna mute the tv.

He was perfect for DVD commentary

It’s a shame, I like Striker, someone who truely loved his job
