NXT’s Mauro Ranallo’s commentary is one of the biggest highlights of NXT, and it seems that the voice of Wednesday nights will get some extra work this month.
Last year’s MYC featured WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Lita at the commentary desk as the two covered two days worth of women’s wrestling split into nine episodes on the WWE Network.
This year’s MYC takes place on August 8th and 9th, with the finals taking place at WWE Evolution on October 28th. PWInsider reported today that Mauro Ranallo will work as the lead commentator for the 2018 Mae Young Classic. It’s unknown who his broadcast partner could be, though Lita or Beth Phoenix is likely, considering they both worked commentary over the past year.
