As reported earlier, Alexa Bliss will take on WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus at WWE Evolution. Now, it looks like another former WWE Women’s Champion will be appearing at the all women’s PPV.
At NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV last night, a graphic for WWE Evolution appeared on the screens at the Barclays Center showing Michelle McCool.
It’s not known who the 4-time champion will be facing when she returns in October. She joins Stratus, Lita, and Beth Phoenix as the last generation’s representation at Evolution, though it’s not known of Phoenix will be on commentary or not.
Currently, WWE Evolution’s card looks like this:
- The Finals of the MYC
- Raw Women’s Championship Match
- Smackdown Women’s Championship Match
- NXT Women’s Championship Match
- NXT UK Women’s Championship Match
- Alexa Bliss vs Trish Stratus
On the graphic which promoted Bliss and Stratus, the Goddess still had the title, and it’s possible that she may come out on top tonight at SummerSlam, that match may indeed be for the Raw Women’s Championship.
