Mick Foley reveals one match from his career which gets overlooked

Mick Foley

Mick Foley recently had an interview with FanFest, where he revealed that he was originally bothered by the fact that a lot of people only remembered him for his famous Hell In A Cell Match with Undertaker from 1997.

Though continuing on the topic, he revealed that things have gone better and he has now realized that he is lucky because fans remember the bout so fondly.

The Hall Of Famer was also asked about one match from his career he thinks is overlooked by the people and the former World Champion said that it’s his Boiler Room Brawler with the Undertaker from 1996:

I think the 1996 Boiler Room Brawl was overlooked, I think there’s a lot of good stuff in there. [It] could have done with more commentary as they left it blank there for 12 minutes. It was really odd, which I think made it come off as a little unusual, but I think that was what Mr. McMahon was looking for.

Apart from this Mick Foley also talked about the recent cage match between Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman among other things. The brawl Foley talks about can be seen below:

No they do not, it kind of their calling card lol.

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

Do these guys even proof read their articles?

Mick’s “famous hell in a cell match” wasn’t in 1997, it was 1998 *face palm*

Foley had a bunch of good matches, I personally enjoyed cactus jack and Texas chainsaw Charlie vs the new age outlaws… dumpster match if I remember correctly… also enjoyed his royal rumble in either 97 or 98 when he made an appearance as all 4 of his personas!!!

Mankind vs Shawn Michaels at In Your House Mind Games stands out to me.
