- Knockouts Champion Mickie James wrote the following on Twitter about Orlando Jordan’s release from TNA: “mickie My heart hurts hearing we lost @orlandojordan today. An amazing talent.! & even more important. Individual! Our loss someone else’s fortune.”
– Officials from the Speed Channel were said to be all positive at the All Wheels Wrestling pilot tapings a few weeks back at the Impact Zone, and were telling people they thought a first season would be approved. Officials from TNA are also confident in the project.
Speed wanted wrestlers who didn’t work for TNA to be the stars. Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal, Aaron Aguilera and Daivari wrestled each other at the pilot. If the season is approved for Speed, the promotion will sign 12 wrestlers – three for each team, and do a 13 week season.
