– WWE Champion The Miz was interviewed by Blogs.AJC.com this week and regarding his character, had the following to say:
“The Miz is Mike at volume 100. The Miz is Mike on 50 Red Bulls. I’m a jerk in real life. I can’t help it! It’s who I am. Getting to the WWE made me realize I could do anything I want in my life. It’s funny. It’s just an interesting ride. I’m glad I’m on it.”

Sunday’s WrestleMania 27:
“This really is a dream come true. As a kid, I watched Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant. It was larger than life. And now, I’m on that same stage. I don’t think it’s left my mind since Monday’s RAW. I’m in there with The Rock and John Cena — two icons. And I’m going to show them that the torch needs to be passed to me, the up-and-comer.”
Being nervous before the big match:
“When I’m ready to go out, I’m back in the gorilla position (near the entrance). I’m always a nervous wreck, pacing back and forth with butterflies in my stomach. Once that music hits, it all goes away and turns into energy, adrenaline. Then, nothing can take me down. I’m Superman.”
