Carmella was enjoying her Royal Mellabration during the latest episode of SmackDown Live, that was until she got interrupted by Paige.
The new SmackDown Live General Manager had a bad news for the new Champion as she announced that Carmella will defend her Women’s Championship against Asuka at the upcoming Money In The Bank PPV.
Though this wasn’t the only announcement with Money In The Bank implications made during the show as Shinsuke Nakamura defeated AJ Styles in a singles match and it was revealed that Nakamura will now pick the stipulation for their upcoming Championship match at MITB.
The SmackDown episode also saw Becky Lynch winning a triple threat match to qualify for the upcoming Ladder match and the New Day earning a spot for one of their members in the bout. After tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live, here is the updated Money In The Bank match card:
