– The pre-sale for WWE’s SmackDown live event in Roanoke, Virginia on March 19th is WWE319. The pre-sale begins tomorrow morning at 10am.
– Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman announced today he will be retiring and will not run for re-election in 2012. It’s now expected that Linda McMahon will be running. In related news, CT Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz announced that she will be running in the Democratic primary for Lieberman’s seat. This is the same woman who was in the news last year for saying that voters wearing WWE merchandise to the polls would be turned away.
– In addition to the roster we posted yesterday, other names confirmed for WWE’s All Stars video game include Ted DiBiase Jr. and Ted DiBiase Sr. as Gamestop pre-order exclusives. The roster from yesterday were just confirmed names, there will be many more announced in the near future.
– As noted earlier, Wade Barrett’s group on SmackDown has a new name. According to the spelling on the Titantron at last night’s tapings, the new name is spelled The Corre, pronounced core.
