– Thomas Golianopoulos of Grantland.com recently did an interesting article on actor Tommy “Tiny” Lister, better known to wrestling fans as Zeus. The article contains quotes from Hulk Hogan, who feuded with Zeus in WWE and WCW, and starred with him in No Holds Barred. Zeus noted that WWE paid him $56,000 for SummerSlam, $17,000 for Saturday Night’s Main Event, $40,000 for No Holds Barred: The Match and $35,000 for Survivor Series. Zeus says he wasn’t interested in wrestling at first and talked about negotiating with Vince McMahon:
“I ain’t really into putting my hand up in between some dude’s legs. Vince McMahon was a great negotiator. He would already wire the money into my account before he even started [negotiating]. Who’s going to say no? You’re going to take $56,000 out of your checking account?”
