Mysterio Update, WWE Partners with Twitter, WWE ’13 Pre-orders, Shane McMahon

– We noted before that Shane McMahon’s company “YOU” is now listed on the NASDAQ exchange and company heads rang the bell at the start of trading this past week. McMahon has reached deals with several Hollywood studios to bring movies to China.

The company lost $4.8 million over the last quarter and McMahon had to loan the company $3 million of his own money back on May 10th.

– Twitter announced this week that WWE is now one of 12 new partners that will be testing out new interactive tweets. “Expanded tweets” will feature WWE audio, video and photos. The new features are already on Twitter’s normal website and their mobile website, and will be rolled out to iPhone and Android apps soon.

– The first week of pre-orders for the WWE ’13 video game were up 250% from the first week of pre-orders for the WWE ’12 game last year.

– It’s interesting to note that Rey Mysterio’s suspension is up in less than two weeks but he is not advertised for any WWE live events yet.
