Former WWE SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Naomi was forced to relinquish her title last month to Daniel Bryan due to an unfortunate knee injury. Naomi was unable to defend her title in the allotted 30-day period, therefore she was forced to drop the title.
Alexa Bliss would go on to win the vacated title in a match against Becky Lynch, and will now defend the strap at Wrestlemania against “every available woman on the SmackDown LIVE roster.” According to Naomi’s father via Twitter who was answering fan questions, the former Blue Brand champ could be one of those women:

Naomi’s father also noted that “she will be back by Wrestlemania” but has since deleted that particular tweet. This was the last injury update Naomi herself gave fans on Twitter, which was on March 7th:
