Natalya feels women will go onto headline WrestleMania 35

Over the last couple of years, the women’s division has been on a surgent rise. With the women having accomplished pretty much everything, the only thing which remains is to headline the Grandest Stage Of Them All.

Natalya recently spoke with The Wrap where she mentioned that women headlining the upcoming WrestleMania is a possibility. She said:

“I think we are gonna headline WrestleMania this year. I feel strongly that we will do that.”

She also commented on the current state of the women’s division. She claimed:

“The Women’s Evolution right now in WWE– it’s on fire. Women have never been involved as they are right now in the company, and we’re doing things every single day to show that women are at the forefront.”

The former champion also asserted the importance of the people behind the cameras behind the resurgence of the division. Natalya elaborated:

“We have women behind the scenes that are in charge, like Stephanie McMahon and Michelle Wilson and so many different women taking on leadership roles in the company. We had our first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view. I’ve been a part of so many first-ever, incredible female moments in the company, like the first-ever women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble, the first-ever Women’s Table Match…the time [for main eventing WrestleMania] has come.”

Initial talks for the main event included the prospect of Ronda Rousey facing off with Charlotte, but with that match being capped off already, we have to see if the WWE repeats the match or throws Becky Lynch in the mix.
