Natalya opens up about breaking Trish Stratus’ record

Natalya has scratched and clawed her way through the WWE Universe. She’s taken every chance she had to be on camera and realized the special nature of her appointment in WWE. After capturing the SmackDown Women’s Title at SummerSlam, Natalya received an amazing accolade for all of her hard work.

WWE.com has a new interview up with SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya where she talks about her record-breaking opportunity at Hell In A Cell. Natalya is set to surpass Trish for the most PPV matches of any women in WWE history and she obviously realizes the magnitude of this accomplishment.

“I feel like I’ve been so lucky that I’ve been able to pursue my dreams for so long in WWE. I’ve gotten to wrestle and compete and perform against some amazing women, but now that WWE is really embracing this Women’s Evolution, it feels like I’m finally starting to do what I was born to do and that’s wrestle. I’m finally starting to hit my stride. I’m finally starting to, I feel like, do the best work of my career. That’s also attributed to the fact that we’ve got some of the best women wrestlers in the world right now in WWE.”
