Neville’s status with the WWE

The Man that Gravity Forgot hasn’t been seen since October when he supposedly walked out on Monday Night Raw following contract disputes. Since then, Neville has stayed off social media, with his last tweet bashing his shirt on the WWE Shop.

Neville was one of the most gifted talents on the main roster but was rumored to be upset over his spot in the WWE’s revitalized Cruiserweight division. The former champion lost his title to Enzo Amore and would leave in the middle of that storyline.

The King of the Cruiserweights is still with the company, even though he’s been working on leaving for quite some time. According to PWInsider Elite Audio, he’s still trying to figure out if he’s going to come back to work with the company or if he’s going to continue to look for an out. Yeah, he’s hanging out at home, waiting to figure out how he’s going to get out of his WWE contract. Or if he’s going to come up with some way to come back to WWE. We’ll see if that ever happens.

Many fans believe that the former champion was pigeonholed into a role that limited him as a performer, forcing him onto 205 Live instead of working with the rest of the roster on Raw or Smackdown. It’s been said that Neville feels the same way, although nothing has been confirmed from the man himself.

With high profile matches against the likes of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Seth Rollins, it’s understandable that he might feel like he’s not being used to his full potential.

For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what Neville does. Should he come back to the Cruiserweight Division, it wouldn’t be horrible. Since January, 205 Live has been a completely different show, putting on fantastic matches and being taken more seriously by the fans. But if he’s looking for a main roster spot, I’m sure the WWE could find a place for him on Raw or Smackdown quite easily.
