- Roddy Piper and his Piper’s Pit segment have been added to WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden on December 26th.

– WWE has updated future live events and changed John Cena’s name to “Juan Cena.” Obviously this will play a part in Cena’s current storyline.

On a related note, Cena noted on Twitter today that he “bought” tickets for next week’s three-hour RAW so it looks like he will be there to continue the angle.

  • Ronald

lol, if Cena grows a mustache, this will be funny. Stupid and asinine, but funny.

  • shawn

oh yeah the article was about cena’s speech huh? lol i just laughed when he mentioned billy kidman because he himself mentioned he was being an idiot. i had no idea some dude who used to wrestle with daisy dukes and a wifebeater would worry about his speech.

  • me

epic fail, it’s sht like this that will kill the company, guy spends 20 minutes of the show doing hisleaving speach and shaking peoples hands, then 20 minutes later he interrupts the main event, and next week he’s going to be there too? moronic, nobody with half a brain (so that rules cena fans out) believed he was really fired, but having him not actually gone for any period of time at all just shts all over the product and makes it look like even more of a joke than it had already become, what a joke.

  • Paton

Cena, HHH wins title then its bland and we “want someone new” and then someone with some decent talent who is very over with the crowd wins it for the first time and we want it back on the same old people. You idiots said the same about Sheamus and it turned out great for him.

  • jim

let me guess hes gonna come out with a mustache on and the refs or other guys in the back are gonna realize its him???only in WWE.

  • Jay

    @Devil_Rising

You should watch ROH. And Chikara. And find cheap DVDs from Japan.
Being a fan of wrestling really is worth the “work” of ignoring WWE.

  • Eric Nixon

Hey guys. WWE sucks. That’s why I took a break from it over two months ago, and haven’t missed it once. If you don’t like it, then don’t watch. It’s that easy. There’s some really good stuff on TV.

Also, I thought Juan Cena already worked for WWE. Overrated? Kids love him? Wins against all, impossible, implausible odds? He wrestles under the name Rey Mysterio.

  • Devil_Rising

    @Azn

Dude. As horrible as WWE has gotten, I’d STILL rather watch it than MMA, any day of the weak. I’d rather watch “FAKE” pro wrestling, that at least has some flashy moves and is mildly entertaining, than to watch 20 minutes of ground n pound, roided-up agro freaks in the man-sex position. Yeah…..real men fighting. Right.

I’ll admit that I don’t watch much of pro wrestling anymore, but that doesn’t mean I don’t still love it. I just don’t care for what’s being presented to me. I really should start watching ROH, to give them a shot.

It seems to me from visiting this site as much as I do, most of you people are impossible to please. They shake things up by The Miz winning the WWE Championship on raw mind you and you still complain and you still watch and complain some more. WWE has been bland as of late I an admit that but its getting better and I think it will continue to improve, WWE is in a period where they are still grooming the future stars of the wwe. Everyone is waiting for a new attitude era when if they gave you that you’d just complain its been done before. Every form of entertainment goes through some form of adjustment when people leave, retire or whatever and then new stars come along. If you dont like wwe’s storylines its really simply don’t watch, go watch TNA or as I call it wcw 1.5 cause its worse than wcw ever was. Enjoy the entertainment it provides and stop being so critical. If john cena and the miz weren’t big draws they wouldn’t be where they are so you anti cena and miz people are in the minority wether you like it or not.

    ^^^^^^”Comment of the year”

Just face the facts. The WWE is nothing but garbage *** entertainment. I know this business is suppose to evolve but there hasnt been anything positive in the last few years.

Pro Wrestling is DEAD. UFC > WWE —- If your a grown *** man..WATCH REAL MEN FIGHT

LOL, yet ur stupidass continues to watch, complain, and spam ur bullshit.

  • Evil Doink

    Well said, Emerson.

Cena’s farewell speech could have been a great segue for him to actually take a few months off (and go home and visit his mom and do all the things he was talking about). They could have found a reason for him to come back at the Rumble or something, but at least it would have made the storyline more credible if he was actually gone for a period of time. Then this could have opened the door for a Triple H or Jericho return. One of them could havce been the new mouthpiece of the WWE in Cena’s absence, claiming to be sick and tired of Barrett and Nexus. I’d love to see Barrett feud with Triple H. Why not?

I heard WWE is looking for writers. Where do I apply???

  • drg

and by the way everyone hates john cena so much including me at times but monday made me realize that Cena is a hell of a performer. I think hes just being a good compant man. he talks the way he does cause his boss told him to. he appeals well to certain demographics and wwe wants to target the future audience, kids. i bet cena doesnt like some of the stuff he does but he goes with it cause thats his job as an employee. and his 3 moves that everyone complains about is also all a part of that. When he uses that you know the finish is coming and it gets his fans riled up to see the AA. Modern day wrestling has become a watered donw version of brets time. he had 3-5 key moves that set up the sharpshooter, and you anticipated them coming onece you saw those few moves. though we get mad at cena for it, hes just doing his job.

  • drg

emerson and uno cero i agree with the two of you. Everyone is so mad because the attitude era is over and they still havent gotten over it. It’s like previously said wwe and wrestling as a whole are going through a transition period. i admit nowadays product can be too much at times. But look at the miz, this is a guy who went from shit all to wwe champion. hes had to deal with the bias of being a reality star and being kicked out of the locker room. hes gotten to where he is by pure work ethic and has made a fan out of me. its a new guy with the championship and possibly the beginning of making a mega star, hes got potential. to avoid this transition lasting longer they need to get the ball rolling and miz is just a part of that.

  • powerbombin midgets

why dont you so-called wrestling fans that come here everyday to complain…..QUIT WATCHING THE SHIT!!!

  • Uno Cero

I agree with Emerson. If you don’t like the direction WWE is headed in, don’t watch. I didn’t for the last month and a half until Raw last night, and I saw The Miz win the WWE Title. That was a nice twist for me, even though I don’t like the guy. Why waste your time complaining and then you watch anyways? If you don’t like a show, just change the channel, retards. This isn’t rocket science. They’re transitioning into a new era. They lost a lot of their big stars from the past. So if you don’t wanna be patient and wait for the new ones to develop, then watch Two and a Half Men or something, WWE won’t miss ya.

  • Curtis

What if its not actually John Cena, but a new gimmick for Darren Young. After all, he did say he was the missing link.

  • Kelly

….REALLY? Is WWE resorting to that now? I think the fans will obviously know it’s him, at least “Mr.America” Was different from Hulk Hogan, and not changing 1 letter.

  • me

@Emerson well said but people do have a right to their own opinion im just glad barrett didn’t get the belt but the miz is a ahole in real life now that he has the belt his head will swell up to the point it will blowup he will rub the wrong person the wrong way he will be out of the wwe in less than six months if JBL was still in the wwe the miz would of been gone a long time ago the sad part is the man does have mad skills on the mic and in the ring but the man is a jerk this is my opinion . what i think what a lot of people are sick of is every person that has won money in the bank has won gold to me this makes mitb a joke and Nexus being shoved down our throat every week . but i will say raw is getting better but it it has a long way to go

  • Azn

  • In Grind We Crust

I liked Cena back during his US title run in 04 but having him repeatedly jammed down my throat in horrible main event matches with every other month it alternating between Orton/Sheamus/Barrett just gets obnoxious. Now Miz is champion I’m pretty excited to see how that will play out and hopefully it’s a sign WWE will started pushing younger guys like Morrison and Dibiase into the main event spotlight. I guess only time will tell.

  • vinceite

    It’s like this:
    1. John Cena= Most annoying, bland, and tired act in the history of wrestling. If you’re not a teenybopper or under 10, odds are you can’t stand this guy (- women too)… He seems like a big sissy…

    2. De Miz: = De Boring. Reality stars and pro wrestling don’t mix. Who can take this joke of a champion seriously? Nobody!!!

    3. Micheal Cole: “I am the worst announcer in WWE history. And I quote, if you don’t believe me, just listen to me for 5 minutes. Thank God you have a mute button.”

    4. Maybe Miz can end Taker’s streak. Wouldn’t that be AWESOME..gag

  • daniel

TNA is a retirement home and a cheap run off of WCW

  • misfit

Beats the hell out of the pukster “brother”, and jeff hardlys ugly ass belt

  • deva

so cena who lost was suppose to join nexus, but never really joined since he attacked them and never came out with them, and now he suppose to be fired and gone, but not really gone either…wwe yes great storylines

  • vinceite

TNA as BAD as it is, looks a lot more appealing now.
I wish they had different brand ppvs like the did for a while, I’d just watch Smack Down! and be done with it. Miz and Cena = worst combo ever. Send Randy to Smack Down and I will be happy.

  • daniel

CENA’S NOT LEAVING? AWESOME!!!!! NOW I CAN WATCH RAW

  • vinceite

Oh my God. He’s back…and he never left!!!
With the Miz as Champ, and Cena the focus of the show
more than ever, WWE could be set to experience its worst
run EVER. Miz and Cena are like two cancers on WWE.

Who wants to see a 10 minute fake Cena leaving tribute, and
sans 0 time off on a “leave” angle, he’s back!!!

Buckle up friends, it’s going to be a very long, boring, and dry run.

  • Treg

Uh.. I guess they’re doing the whole Mr. America/Hogan thing again huh?
