New Japan Star Recreates Famous Movie Scene, NJPW Team Breaks Up

New Japan recently traveled to the USA for their G1 USA shows that were not only amazing but very well received worldwide. The New Japan crew received a ton of praise from the American wrestling fan base and the show trended on Twitter. It was the talk of anyone who saw either night of this amazing showcase of wrestling ability.

While in California New Japan star Kushida decided he wanted to take a tour around the famous city. It looks like he had a great time exploring the local hot spots and even had a chance to visit a location where one of the most memorable scenes in movie history was shot.

The parking lot might be newer and the tree out front might have grown a lot, but Kushida found the Burger King that Marty McFly was in front of in Back To The Future as he skateboarded behind a pick-up truck. Kushida is a Back To The Future fan, to say the least as he often wears a life-preserver looking vest just like Michael J Fox did in those iconic movie moments from the film.

It looks like Kushida loved his time in America because the United States audiences obviously loved New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Even though the G1 USA shows were amazing the second night featured a match with a bitter-sweet ending. The Young Bucks faced Roppongi Vice and successfully defended their NJPW Jr Tag Team Championships against Rocky Romero and Beretta.

After the match, Romero said RPG Vice had made a five-year plan three years earlier. They said this plan included them winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship and the Super Jr Tag Tournament and they did just that.

Baretta is transitioning into the heavyweight division in NJPW and since they didn’t regain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, Romero gave Beretta permission to move to the heavyweight division.

This meant that Roppongi Vice is no more, but these Baretta and Romero don’t appear to be holding any ill feelings toward each other.
