– WWE’s Intercontinental Title was declared vacant on last night’s SmackDown after Teddy Long “fired” the former Champion Drew McIntyre. Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes vs. Christian took place last night in a one-night tournament with Kofi and Christian advancing. The two will face on next week’s SmackDown to crown a new Intercontinental Champion.
