– Former WWE star Tajiri debuted his new WNC (Wrestling New Classic) promotion on May 24th at Korakuen Hall in Japan. The show drew about 1,500 fans. The main event saw Finlay defeat AKIRA with a tombstone piledriver. Unlike Tajiri’s previous company which ran once a month, WNC will run regular tours. ECW alumni Mikey Whipwreck was also on the shows.
– Daniel Bryan is scheduled to move from SmackDown live events to RAW live events in a few weeks to work on top matches with CM Punk. Right now the plan is to have them wrestle submission matches.
