Nick Aldis says he suggested Impact officials to sign Neville, Finn Balor

Impact Wrestling has lost a number of their biggest stars in the last few years and many wonder if things would have been different if they had given more chances to the likes of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks while they were with the company or had signed some more indie stars.

During a recent interview with Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast, current NWA World Champion Nick Aldis revealed that he had actually suggested Impact Officials to sign a number of indie wrestlers that ended up being big stars.

According to Aldis, he had suggested Impact to sign Marty Scurll before he became a big star saying that he would eventually figure himself out among other stars:

Even if you don’t like who he [Marty Scurll] is today that he is eventually going to find something and is going to blow the doors off. I said that verbatim. It wasn’t an interpretation of what I said; I said those exact words to the TNA Office. I told them to sign over the years Neville; I told them to sign over the years Prince Devitt [Finn Balor] – but that’s another story for another day.

Nick Aldis is currently scheduled to defend his NWA World title against Cody Rhodes at the ALL IN event on September 1st.
