Nigel McGuinness was noticeably absent from 205 Live this week and missed this week’s tapings of NXT and Main Event. Up until now, there was no reason given as to why McGuinness missed these events. However, after a post on Instagram, it was revealed that there were no negative reasons for his absence.
In fact, McGuinness was given two weeks off to be with his family after his daughter Amelia, was born.

McGuinness thanked everyone for the well wishes and support as he embarks on his new journey as a father. He’ll miss 205 Live again this week, with his position being covered by his fellow NXT commentator Percy Watson.
