When the news of John Cena and Nikki Bella’s breakup first broke, many people thought that this was a storyline and the company was using this to increase ratings of Total Bellas.
However now after the show’s season has ended, it’s pretty clear that the whole thing was not a work and the WWE Stars have actually decided to go their separate ways.
Nikki also released a statement on the matter to People. In the statement as seen below, she again confirmed that the two have finally broken up for good:
“After I called off the engagement, we tried to work on our relationship to get back to where it was, and in order to move forward with our wedding. After much time and soul-searching alone and together, we have decided to officially part ways, I had a beautiful and loving 6-year relationship with a wonderful man. I have the utmost respect for John, but I know this is what’s best for me.”
It’s worth mentioning here that there have been rumors of the Bella Twins making their in-ring return amidst the speculations of the company introducing a Women’s Tag Team titles.
