NJPW reportedly offering big money deals to WWE Stars

We noted before how NJPW was reportedly interested in hiring some current WWE Stars, namely Shinsuke Nakamura, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

However, despite the reports, it’s widely believed that these stars will stay with the American company and one of the biggest reasons for it is the belief that indie companies cannot compete with WWE in terms of money.

However, this situation might have changed in recent times and Dave Meltzer recently revealed that the Japanese promotion is also offering a good deal to some talents:

“One person who is there got an offer for ridiculous money for way less dates and it very much surprised me. This would be one of the top guys in WWE. New Japan is weird but they are willing to pay real big money like they did with [Chris] Jericho.”

While Meltzer didn’t reveal a name or figure, based on previous reports, it’s possible that he might be talking about Shinsuke Nakamura who is considered a legend in Japan.

He can add some much-needed star power to NJPW’s roster, should Cody Rhodes and the other members of the Elite decide to leave.
