This week on Smackdown Live, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin looked to earn another shot at the Usos. The Smackdown Tag Team Champions have had a strong run at the top of the division, beating every team that’s come across their path.
The Usos even came out on top in their rivalry with the New Day back in the fall. However, after five months away from the gold, the group would get another chance at the tag champs at Fastlane if they could defeat their opponents tonight.

On tonight’s episode of Smackdown Live, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin took on the “World Famous” 4-time champs in an effort to challenge the Usos for their tag titles at Fastlane. The New Day would ultimately defeat Gable and Benjamin, punching their ticket to Fastlane and reigniting the rivalry that set the tag team division on fire in 2017.
However, there seems to be a third team looming in the background. As the New Day went to leave the ring, the lights went out, and the Bludgeon Brothers arrived. While they didn’t attack the New Day, the message was sent, just like the week prior when they destroyed a TV that was showing a pre-taped vignette from the Usos.
Could we see a triple threat tag match for the tag titles at WWE Fastlane?
