The new WWE Raw Women’s Champion was scheduled for a tag team match tonight against Alexa Bliss and Mickie James.
Nia Jax received a huge ovation from the crowd and booed Alexa and Mickie as soon as they came out. Alexa said that Nia doesn’t have any friends and, moreover, doesn’t have a tag team partner.
That’s when Nia Jax revealed that her partner is none other than former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon.
Ember Moon is the first post WrestleMania call-up for the main roster.
Ember Moon hit the Eclipse on Alexa Bliss to end the match. Afterwards, a backstage segment showed Kurt Angle talking more possible debuts. When Angle’s backstage segment ended, a vignette aired announcing that No Way Jose would debut tonight.
In the first hour, Monday Night Raw has already called up two NXT talents.
