NXT Stars reportedly in talks for a main roster callup

In the recent times, we have seen Bobby Roode making his main roster debut and the debut of Asuka for Raw has been confirmed too, and now it appears a couple of more NXT talents are on their way to the main roster as well.

During the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that there have been talks of bringing the Authors Of Pain to the main roster soon and revealed that they would possibly join the SmackDown brand.

Though Dave didn’t reveal the exact plans for their debut so it’s not known when or where the duo will make their first main roster appearance.

It’s worth mentioning here that the Authors of Pain recently lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to Sanity so they appear to be the perfect candidate to be called up to the main roster.

I am starting to wonder if the whole Kevin Owens storyline isn’t leading to a bigger storyline between Vince and HHH were in the end HHH take over the WWE full time.

Maybe that is how they should do it. Trades.
Colons go to NXT, AOP go to main roster.
Just so long as they don’t take the jobber spot from them that is.

I’d trade AOP for the Colons.

WWE do not know what to do with most of their NXT call ups already, so it really is time to stop bringing people up to the main roster. Not only is it depleting any semblance of “star power” from the NXT roster, but it is making the SD and Raw rosters so bloated, that everyone starts to suffer.
How many wrestlers are losing tv time or potential pushes because of how many people their are on the rosters?

I would say it is actually time to start sending people back to NXT, and that includes some talent who have been on the main roster for years.
