Accidents can happen at any time in professional wrestling and it is always unexpected. Chelsea Green wrestled at NXT’s television tapings on Wednesday evening and she suffered an injury. This was the first time Green wrestled in front of the Full Sail University crowd.
Green informed her fans about the injury on social media and told them she had injured her wrist and will require surgery for it.
“Of course, with this job comes occupational hazards. Unfortunately, I broke my wrist mid-match & will require surgery first thing tomorrow morning.
“It sucks. I’m upset, I’m angry, I’m sore… but I’ll be back soon. This is just a tiny bump in the road to many goals I have set for 2019!”
We hope Chelsea makes a speedy recovery and is able to return to the ring soon enough. Thankfully she has Zack Ryder to help her in the meantime.
