The official Royal Rumble weekend kicked off with the NXT TakeOver: Phoenix where, in the opening match itself, the titles changed hands.
The War Raiders, Hanson and Rowe won the NXT Tag Team titles after defeating the Undisputed Era. This saw The Undisputed Era’s reign of 198 days come to an end.
This is the first run with the championships for the War Raiders who arrived from the indies last year. Here are a few clips from the match:
