Roman Reigns confronted Paul Heyman and had some harsh words to offer to the advocate of the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar last week on Raw, but it appears that it wasn’t the original plans for the Big Dog.
According to Wrestling Observer, the original idea for last week’s show was to ‘suspend’ Reigns for shooting on Lesnar a week prior and keep him off the television.
The Officials reportedly went back and forth with the idea for the whole week but ultimately decided against it and determined that it was better for Roman to be on the show.
As we noted before, WWE reportedly had all the steps for this feud laid out but Mr. McMahon threw that all out of the window before the Raw after Elimination Chamber and decided to go with a new plan which includes downplaying Lesnar on his way out.
Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are set to have a confrontation during tonight’s episode of Raw but in the wake of the new plans, it’s hard to say if Brock will actually show up at tonight.
