Original plans for segment on Raw 25th Anniversary show

Dudley Boyz

We noted before how WWE suspended Enzo Amore prior to the 25th-anniversary episode of Monday Night Raw and it reportedly forced them to change plans for a big segment on the show.

Per Pwinsider, Amore was scheduled to face Goldust during the third hour of the event and the Bizarre one was expected to win the bout via a disqualification.

It would have led to the Zo Train attacking the former Hardcore Champion. Then, the Dudley Boyz would have returned to the show and made the save.

This obviously didn’t happen due to the situation with Amore and the company reportedly re-wrote and finalized the segment around 7 PM EST.

After the plans changed Goldust was removed from the episode completely and the members of the Zo Train were sent to Manhattan Center to work on dark matches as needed.

As noted before, WWE announced earlier yesterday that they have released Enzo Amore.

Goldust was not removed entirely. He came out with a bunch of legends at one point.
