As seen last week the Riott Squad made their surprise debut on SmackDown Live changing the complexion of the Women’s Division on the Blue Branded Show.
They interfered in a match involving the SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, igniting a rivalry with Charlotte along with other stars.
While now it appears that these three will be feuding with Flair and other female SmackDown Stars for a while, Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the original plans for the Queen were different.
According to him, the current Women’s Champion was pencilled to have a rivalry with Tamina Snuka with the idea behind it being that both of them are second generation stars.
Though this feud was nixed when Vince McMahon made the decision to call up 5 Women’s from NXT Roster. No word yet on how long this feud between the Riott Squad and the female SmackDown Stars will last.
