Outcome of Universal Title match at Royal Rumble reportedly still undecided

At the Royal Rumble event on January 27th, Brock Lesnar will be defending his Universal Title against Braun Strowman, in what is a highly anticipated matchup between two monsters in the ring.

The two had a very awkward segment on this week’s RAW, which was a huge letdown for fans. It was reported later that Braun Strowman had forgotten his lines for the segment.

On Barn Burner’s No Holds Barred podcast, the Universal Title plans were discussed. Joe Peisich reported that WWE is still currently weighing their options as to which way to go for the finish. Here is what he said:

“Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman, you saw the confrontation on RAW tonight. They don’t know what direction they’re going to yet. Could Braun Strowman win the title or could Brock Lesnar keep the title heading into WrestleMania? They don’t know what direction they’re going into yet. So a lot of things are up in the air with WrestleMania and with the Royal Rumble and with WWE.”

It is uncertain whether Braun Strowman will actually be winning the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble, especially since he forgot his lines. Things simply do not look good for him right now. We will have to wait until the Royal Rumble to see what happens.
