WWE Superstar Paige appeared at a charity event in San Antonio, Texas recently along with her boyfriend Alberto Del Rio to raise money for the Salvation Army’s Emergency Family Shelter.
During the event, KENS5’s Chelsey Hernandez approached the former Diva’s Champion and asked her about an update on her WWE return.
Replying to it, the former champion claimed that she is hopeful to return to the ring within the next couple of months, mentioning that she now has to get cleared by WWE doctors:
“Hopefully within the next couple of months, fingers crossed, Now I have to get cleared by WWE doctors.”
It’s worth mentioning here that Paige underwent a neck surgery in October last year. Her operation reportedly took place without the consent of WWE Medical staff.
During a recent interview earlier this month, she had revealed that she will have her final check up after the surgery soon and claimed that she is excited about her WWE return.
However, so far it’s not known what is WWE’s stand on the whole situation and whether or not the company wants the former Diva’s Champion to return in the wake of the well-known controversy with her boyfriend Alberto Del Rio.
