According to a report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE star Paige has hired legal representation while she is serving her 30-day suspension for violating the company’s Wellness Policy. Paige is currently under contract with the WWE through 2019, but is reportedly taking a lot of heat for her real-life relationship with fellow WWE competitor Alberto Del Rio who is currently embroiled in his own problems with the company.
We mentioned last week that WWE’s Mark Carrano approached the couple separately about their relationship and reportedly ‘harassed’ them, leading to the two being split up in the WWE Draft. Paige’s job with the company was also threatened if she didn’t end her relationship with Del Rio.
Now with Paige’s hiring of legal assistance for the matter, it may only be a matter of time before we see her follow in her boyfriend’s footsteps and walk out of the door from WWE.
