As noted earlier, William Moody, also known as Paul Bearer, passed away Tuesday, March 5th at the age of 58.
Moody attended the the Gulf Coast Wrestler’s Reunion this past weekend in Mobile, Alabama, and was said to have caught an upper respiratory infection the week before in Chicago. Footage of Moody’s appearance in Chicago can be seen in the video embedded below.
Moody was under a doctor’s care and on medication for the infection. Because Moody was so weak, he attended the reunion event in a wheel chair.
TMZ published a story about Moody’s passing, and noted that while the cause of his death is unclear, “he reportedly suffered from serious health problems over the past decade … including morbid obesity and gallbladder issues.”
