The Bruiserweight has officially held the United Kingdom Championship for a year today. Pete Dunne captured the title from Tyler Bate at NXT TakeOver: Chicago.
Dunne has defended his belt against the likes of Bate, Johnny Gargano, and Roderick Strong since capturing the belt a year ago, and looks to continue to make WWE’s newest title as prestigious as he can. Dunne will defend the belt on the final night of the United Kingdom Championship Tournament against the tournament’s winner.
