– Daniel Bryan debuted his new look at the WWE live event in Hampton, Virginia tonight.

I disagree. They both can pull off great spots, just in different wrestling styles. They both show emotion in their ring work, and I haven’t seen a single Bryan match without great storytelling. The way he moves around the ring, pulls off quick submissions and kicks, and uses moves like flying tackles out of the ring ropes shows a LOT of excitement, energy and “emotion.” You’re simply looking at them in different aspects.

entrainment is great spots, great emotion, and great story telling during a mach, none of which I have seen from Bryan, sure Bryan can have a great technical match more than Cena, but 9/10 Cena will deliver that entertaining emotional match.

  • The Killswitch

That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you.

  • JohnCena33

    You tell me.

  • The Killswitch

But isn’t wrestling supposed to be entertainment by its own right?

  • Archangel

Your backtracking all over your theories. Try Again. John Cena isn’t entertaining at all. Deep Down even you know the truth.

  • JohnCena33

I should have said Cena has had more entertaining matches than Bryan, although Bryan is by far the better wrestler, Cena is the better entertainer.

  • The Killswitch

So you admit that Bryan can wrestle better than Cena, but Cena had better matches. And since he’s a better sports entertainer, he’s better than Bryan.

    Doesn’t make sense.

  • JohnCena33

Cena has had by far better matches than Bryan in career wise, hope you do not deny that, Bryan is a better wrestler, but Cena is a better sports entertainer and that is what matters,
    Cena is better than Bryan.

  • Daniel Stockwell

One match doesn’t mean he is better – Cena is very good but you would expect a reasonable amount of high calibre matches from someone who has been headlining PPV’s for a decade.

Dave Meltzer himself rates Bryan higher – he consistently gets better rated matches and only 3 other Americans consistently have better matches than him (Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards and Seth Rollins). Cena is much lower on the list – Wade Barrett is actually rated higher. An average is far more telling than a single match – by your logic, Samoa Joe is better than Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart.

Considering Bryan has only participated in half the big matches that Cena has, it’s quite a difference.

  • JohnCena33

google list of five star matches dave meltzer, Cena has one five star match officially, bryan has none, why doesnt bryan have any? Why, tell me, please explain why Cena has more five star matches than Bryan?

  • Daniel Stockwell

JohnCena33 >>> Cena has been firmly perched at the top of the company for years though so he has had the luxury of prominent feuds and marque matches. His better matches have more often than not been against ring generals (HBK, Edge, Punk) or had a stipulation attached (JBL, Umaga, Lesnar).

Cena is a great worker but he isn’t close to being on Bryan’s level – this year alone, Bryan has had more quality matches than most – Sheamus, Cesaro, Seth Rollins, his matches against The Shield with Kane, he even got a great match out of Ryback (something Cena couldn’t). By comparison, Cena has only had three good matches this year, one with a stipulation (Orton, TLC) and two against superior workers (Punk and Bryan) – if I’m forgetting another, please let me know – but as you see, not many by comparison.

  • JohnCena33

I dont even care, but officially Cena has more five star matches than Bryan, LOL, get your facts together before you call someone better.

  • Shawn OB

Awesome wrestler, still looks like a troll to me too.

  • The_Man_Of_Reality

Oh my God, Sooo True. When was the last time Cena lost cleanly? Daniel Bryan (Wyatt) Over Super Cena who kisses ugly babies and hugs fat girls and no sells and Has had the same gimmick since 2005… (The list goes on)

  • what?

He may look like a troll but he a better wrestler than John cena will ever be

  • what?

What a waste I guess this is what he gets for having words with the destroyer of wwe triple H

  • Yes3X

  • JohnCena33
